DAP stands for Dog Appeasing Pheromone. This is released naturally by bitches with puppies and helps to keep the pups close by causing them to become calm and relaxed when close to their mother.
Dog Appeasing Pheromone (DAP) Collar helps overcome fear and stress related signs in puppies and adults dogs such as destruction, vocalisation, house soiling and excessive licking. It can also be used for large bangs or fireworks.

DAP comforts the dog in stressful environments (fireworks, visitors, strangers, vet visits, kennelling and unpredictable situations). DAP helps establish the puppy or the dog in a new environment, e.g. re-homing, moving house and coping with strangers.

Pheromones are species-specific and have no effect on cats. Dog Appeasing Pheromone (DAP) Diffuser is also odourless to humans.

In Clinical Trials, undesirable behaviours such as excessive whining and barking, and adult destructive chewing, were improved or resolved by 85% and 72% respectively.
