Vetmedin 5mg are flavoured tablets containing 5 mg pimobendan per tablet. Vetmedin 5mg tablets are used for the treatment of canine congestive heart failure originating from dilated cardiomyopathy or valvular insufficiency. When used in cases of valvular insufficiency in conjunction with frusemide the product has been shown to improve the quality of life and extend life expectancy in treated dogs. When used in cases of dilated cardiomyopathy in conjunction with frusemide, enalapril and digoxin, it has been shown that Vetmedin 5mg can improve the quality of life and to extend life expectancy in treated dogs.

Orders sent to N.Ireland, Scotland, Scottish highlands, Channel Islandsare sent by Royal Mail. We can only ship orders up to 1kg to theseregions. If you opt for NEXT DAY delivery we can ship up to 15kg to these regions.

Returns:

All items are inspected and carefully packed prior to posting  to you.However if they arrive with you damaged/incorrect please contact uswithin 7 days via phone our Customer Service Team on 01926 482800 so wecan issue a replacement if appropriate.

Are premises are Registered Veterinary Premises, regulated by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
The supply of prescription only veterinary medicines by us is under the control of veterinary surgeons who are registered members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Your Account

You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. You can access and update the information you provided us with in the Your Account area of the website. We reserve the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

After you order has been placed you will receive an order acknowledgement which will summarise the products you have ordered and paid for. This email is not an order confirmation or acceptance from us. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and this acceptance confirmation will be sent via email once your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the contract between medicines4pets and the customer will be formed.  We may be unable to process your order if the items are out of stock or discontinued, we are awaiting a prescription or payment has not been authorised.

You are granted a restricted licence to access and make personal use of our website. However, you may not download (other than page caching), modify any content or functionality without our expressed written permission.

Your personal use may not include any resale or commercial use of the website or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

Pricing and Availability


If an item is not available at the time of ordering, this may be mentioned as 'out of stock' on the product information page. As we process your order, we may e-mail you if any products you order turn out to be unobtainable.

Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, we are only human, so we apologise in advance if we ever make a pricing error. Wherever possible we will try to honour the incorrect price as a gesture of goodwill, however this is not always possible and if for some reason we are unable to sell you the product at the stated price or less,
we will contact you first before proceeding.

In a dynamic market place we can never, always be the cheapest, in all medicines and sizes, however, we continually endeavor to offer options for each medicine that represent amongst the best value for money on the internet.

Delivery

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the Delivery Information Section which will have been selected by you at checkout. We make every effort to ensure we meet these timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. We are under no liability for delay or failure to deliver your order within the estimated timescales.  The Delivery Information has more information on all our delivery options.

Events Beyond Our Control


We won’t be held responsible for a breach in these terms from events that are beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Price & Payment 

Once your item has been delivered (or a delivery attempt has been made), the order becomes your responsibility. If your order is damaged/incorrectly delivered it is our responsibility to rectify the situation. Otherwise, we will not accept any responsibility for their loss/damage after delivery has been made/attempted.

All prices on the website include VAT, but exclude Delivery costs.Delivery costs are selected at checkout. Payment is taken from your payment card/PayPal once your order is placed. Our payment systems run checks to ensure the payment card is used with your consent (secure by visa/mastercard and address, name and other personal information will also be validated). If we are unhappy with any of these security checks, we have the rights to refuse and refund your order. If your card issuer/PayPal refuse your payment we will not accept your order and are not liable for delay/non-delivery of your order and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal. if your card issuer charges you as a result of our processing of your card payment, we are not responsible.

Prices are liable to change at any time. As our website contains such a large number of items, sometimes despite our best efforts, items may be incorrectly priced.  As soon as we become aware of such errors they will be rectified. If the product has been priced incorrectly on the website, we will at our discretion call you before dispatch or cancel and refund your order.

Electronic Communications

By using medicines4pets.co.uk you consent to accepting all communications electronically. Emails and all communications sent through our site e.g. forms etc. to us and from us are taken as being electronic and are deemed to be “in writing” to satisfy any legal requirement.

Product Quality

We only source and use medicines that have been licensed for use in the UK. We only buy medicines direct from either the manufacturer or from an authenticated  UK licensed wholesaler. Fake medicines can seriously damage your pet’s health.

We will of course try and send you products with the longest possible expiry date on them, but sometimes this is not always achievable. Some products only come with limited life or it may be that the manufacturer only has a certain date available for a product. Please check of all medicine received to make sure that you use it within the safe timeframe.

Please use, handle and store all products as stated in the manufacturers information or in our specific instructions, if supplied. The manufacturers nor ourselves cannot be held responsible if you deviate from this advice.

Please refer to our Returns Policy if you receive the products and they were damaged in transit.

Cancellations


Excluding the products laid out below, you may cancel your order (or any part of it) at any stage before the products are delivered to you or up to twenty one days afterwards. You must contact us as per the Returns Policy for any cancellation and refunds can occur.

Products Not eligible for cancellation:

    Perishable items such as food (due to health & safety or hygiene issues), unless they were damaged/faulty on delivery or incorrectly delivered to you.

  • Where you decide to cancel an order after we have dispatched the products, you will be under a duty to return them to us at your own risk and cost. All such Products should be returned within 21 days after the Products have been delivered to you. Until such time as they are returned you must retain possession of the Products and take reasonable care of them. You should return the Products to us unused and in the same condition in which you received them together with the original Product packaging by one of the means set out in our Returns Information.
After you cancel your order and return the Products any sum debited by us to your credit/debit card will be refunded less any charges in accordance with the Returns Policy. We will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. Refunds for products purchased as gifts can only be given to the credit/debit card of the person who placed the order. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of you cancelling your order.

If any product you purchase is damaged, faulty or incorrect when delivered to you we may offer an exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights. Substitutions


Sometimes the Product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative. We may experience problems with the supply of certain Products and may therefore supply a substitute of the same of better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement or substitute you can return it in accordance with our 21 day returns policy.

We pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service, so if you have a complaint, then we really do wish to try and resolve it. Our business is built on customer service and we take any shortfall in our standards very seriously.

Complaints are dealt with Monday and Friday between 9am – 5pm. We endeavour to acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and we will keep you regularly updated until the complaint reaches a mutually satisfactory conclusion.

Indemnity & Liability

By using the site you hereby agree to full indemnity for any costs, proceedings, losses, claims, damages, actions, expenses (including reasonable legal costs and expenses) or liabilities suffered or incurred by us through improper use of this website. Your breach, or failure to observe these conditions, or any contract made, or in relation to your use of our website.


Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes/limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Our aggregate liability (whether in contract or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in nay event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the product(s) in respect of one incident or a series of incidents attributable to the same Claus.

This claus does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your cancellation rights. 

We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless we are negligent we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.  


Amendments

We reserve the right to alter our website, the contents and terms and conditions at any time. When you use our site the terms and conditions at that time apply.


Prescription Orders


If your order contains prescription only drugs you must send us a valid prescription within 14 days of your order being placed. If you fail to send us the prescription within this time, we will cancel your order. You will then be refunded (minus a £5 administration charge) to your payment card/PayPal Account.

The Sale and Supply Of Veterinary Medicines


The prescription, sale and supply of veterinary medicines is regulated by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD). The VMD monitor the misuse of prescriptions. It is an offence to alter a prescription in any way without authorisation from the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

If we identify any prescription misuse, we are obliged to inform our regulatory authority the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD).  The VMD will investigate and decide what further action to take. As this takes a considerable amount of administration time we will cancel your order and refund your payment less £15 to cover our costs which you agree to when accepting these terms and conditions.
